Intercessions – May 30, 2021, The Most Holy Trinity

Priest: United, even in our diversity, by our faith in God, we lift up our prayers in humble confidence….

  1. That all who are baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, find cause to put to rest any doubts and genuinely live out our call to holiness, let us pray to the Lord….                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              
  1. For the trust, love, wisdom and courage to effectively share our faith and bring others to share in the blessings of the Body of Christ, the Church, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. That we continue to make progress in our battle against the coronavirus here in the US and throughout the world, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. For strong, loving, united families and that those who come after us be blessed with the gift of faith, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. On this Memorial Day weekend, we pray with respect and gratitude for all who have died in service to our nation and for the safety and integrity of all currently serving in the military and law enforcement, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. For those in prison, for their families who suffer with them, and for all who work in corrections, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. For all who have gone before us and those who grieve them, in particular…

Priest: Heavenly Father, the author of Sacred Scripture, help us receive what you have revealed in your Holy Word. Give us a greater hunger to daily seek you in the scriptures that we may better know you and your Son. May your Holy Spirit open us to be transformed by Your Holy Word throughout this year of the Bible. In Christ’s name we pray….
