Priest: As we continue our celebration of the birth of Jesus and on this day celebrate the Epiphany, we lift up our prayers in humble confidence….
- For a renewed reverence for the dignity of every person, healing from all forms of bias and an unquestioned spirit of welcome for all who come our way, let us pray to the Lord….
- That, like the magi, we may ever seek to know, love and serve the Lord, let us pray to the Lord….
- For perseverance and success in our efforts to subdue the coronavirus, let us pray to the Lord….
- That the faith of the Church be the star that guides people everywhere to come to Christ, let us pray to the Lord….
- For safety and a home for those threatened by hostile, intolerant governments, let us pray to the Lord….
- That as a nation we soon establish legal protection for the unborn and that infants everywhere be welcomed with love, let us pray to the Lord….
- For all who have gone before us and those who grieve them, in particular…
