Intercessions – Trinity Sunday, June 12, 2022

Priest:  We are the Church, the people of God, and we lift up our prayers in humble confidence….

  1. For an unwavering commitment to seek and speak the truth, let us pray to the Lord….                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              
  1. That even in the face of the greatest affliction we abide in the hope that does not disappoint because of the power of the love of God, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. For peace in Ukraine and success in our long battle against the coronavirus, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. That we never lose faith in the goodness of humanity, created as we are in the image and likeness of God, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. For unity, even in the face of our differences, inspired by the unity of the Holy Trinity, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. That we be blessed with an increase in religious vocations and for Tyler Ahrens and Peter Ludwig, newly ordained priests, and Corey Bilodeau and Shea Kettner, newly ordained transitional deacons for our diocese, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. For all who have gone before us and those who grieve them, in particular…
