Intercessions – September 4, 2022

Priest:  Well aware that God’s ways are far beyond our ways, we lift up our prayers in humble confidence….

  1. That we appreciate our many material blessings but be spared from attachment to them, knowing that following Jesus is our true path to meaning and satisfaction, let us pray to the Lord….                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             
  1. For all those seeking new or better jobs, and the recognition and support of workers’ rights everywhere, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. That we remain diligent in our battle against the coronavirus,  let us pray to the Lord….
  1. For peace in Ukraine and all war-torn parts of our world, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. That we go out of our way build up and honor all the members of our families, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. For a renewed reverence for all human life and the legal protection of the unborn, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. For all who have gone before us and those who grieve them, in particular…
