Priest: Like the lepers in today’s Gospel who had the faith and wisdom to come to ask something of Jesus, we humbly and confidently lift up our own prayers….
- For modern-day lepers, the outcasts of our world, including refugees and migrants, let us pray to the Lord….
- That those who have been blessed with recovery from illness and ailments abide in a spirit of gratitude, let us pray to the Lord….
- For the people of Ukraine and the healing blessing of peace for that land, let us pray to the Lord….
- That we continue to make progress in our battle against the coronavirus, let us pray to the Lord….
- For the blessings of patience and endurance for doctors and all in the healing professions, let us pray to the Lord….
- That we actively encourage and pray for religious vocations in our own families, let us pray to the Lord….
- For all who have gone before us and those who grieve them, in particular…
