Intercessions – First Sunday of Advent, November 27, 2022

Priest:  Looking forward to the great feast of Christmas, we humbly and confidently lift up our prayers….

  1. For determination in actively preparing for the coming of Christ, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. That the lonely, poor or sick be blessed with hope and assistance, care and healing, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. For peace soon in Ukraine, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. That we continue to make progress in our battle against the coronavirus, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. For our family and friends, for a healing of any wounds and a shared, ever-growing faith in our loving savior, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. That we more and more appreciate the peace we enjoy and do our part to spread it, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. For all who have gone before us and those who grieve them, in particular…
