Faith Formation classes for preschool through 5th grade children are most Sundays from 10:00-11:00 a.m. in our classrooms.

Children in preschool and kindergarten will be invited to experience their faith through a Montessori-based program called Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. Our amazing catechists will introduce them to the atrium, then guide them as they learn about their faith through hands-on activities. We are always looking for more catechists to help lead CGS, so please reach out if you are interested in being trained! Children in first through fifth grade will be taught using Sophia Institute’s Spirit and Truth curriculum, recommended by the Diocese of Lansing (second grade uses a different curriculum for First Reconciliation/First Communion preparation).
