Intercessions – February 6, 2022

Priest:  Like Isaiah and Peter, the Lord calls us, unworthy as we are, to follow… and to announce the Good News. In humble confidence, we lift up our prayers….

  1. For courage, hope and bold trust, moving beyond our fears to live our faith with zeal and impact, let us pray to the Lord….                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              
  1. That we may recognize that by our very baptism we each have a sacred vocation even as we  pray for an increase in religious vocations, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. For a breakthrough soon in our long battle against the coronavirus, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. That we may engage actively in the call from Pope Francis and our Bishop, Earl Boyea, to seek and share input about the Church, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. Friday February 11 is the feast of our Lady of Lourdes and World Day of the Sick. For healing, courage, and even a spirit of gratitude in those who are sick and ailing,, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. That we may soon bring legal protection to the unborn, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. For all who have gone before us and those who grieve them, in particular…
