Intercessions – April 24, 2022, Divine Mercy Sunday

Priest: Christ is risen! Light conquers the darkness! In renewed faith and humble confidence, we lift up our prayers….

  1. On this Divine Mercy Sunday, we pray for those who are making their First Communion, for their teachers, parents, godparents, relatives and friends celebrating with them, let us pray to the Lord….                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              
  1. That the gift of Easter hope bring strength, renewal and even joy to those weighed down by the burdens of life, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. For all those afflicted with the coronavirus, for continued progress in our battle against it and a return of those who have been away from our sacred assembly, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. That Ukraine and all the world soon know peace and in a special way for Ukrainian mothers, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. For all who became members of the Church at Easter and for the great success of our Alpha program, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. That like St. Thomas, our doubts and struggles be overcome by our own encounters with the Risen Lord, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. For all who have gone before us and those who grieve them, in particular…
