Intercessions – Thanksgiving Day, November 24, 2022

Priest:  Counting our many blessings on this Thanksgiving holiday, still we humbly and confidently lift up our prayers to our bountiful God….

  1. For all the sick and ailing, certainly the many on the sick list in our bulletin and also for those whose ailments are hidden, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. That we all walk with grateful hearts even in times of challenge, difficulty and loss, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. Grateful for the many blessings we enjoy in this country and certainly for the peace we enjoy, we pray for peace soon in Ukraine and other war-torn parts of our world. Let us pray to the Lord….
  1. That we continue to use all the safeguards at our disposal in our battle against the coronavirus, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. For safe travel and for all our family members and friends, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. That we keep prayers of thanksgiving central to our faith life, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. For all who have gone before us and those who grieve them, in particular…
