Intercessions – December 4, 2022

Priest:  We join John the Baptist in preparing the way of the Lord as we humbly and confidently lift up our prayers….

  1. For a deep spirit of repentance, a commitment to produce good spiritual fruit as evidence of that repentance and an openness to the gift of the Sacrament of Reconciliation, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. That we savor and develop the gifts of the Holy Spirit and keep in prayer those in the RCIA and our young people preparing for Confirmation, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. For the people of Ukraine facing winter hardships and all those struggling on their path to peace, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. That we refrain from judging others on hearsay or appearance, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. For the legal protection of the unborn and a deep reverence for all human life, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. That we appreciate the power of little things, working in harmony with one another to make real the kingdom of God in our midst, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. For all who have gone before us and those who grieve them, in particular…
