Intercessions -December 11, 2022

Priest:  With faith-filled rejoicing at the coming of our Lord, we humbly and confidently lift up our prayers….

  1. For hearts generous and sensitive to the needs of others, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. That our preachers be as impacting as John the Baptist was and that we all be effective witnesses of our faith in Christ, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. For peace soon in Ukraine let us pray to the Lord….
  1. That government leaders, judges and legislators be blessed with keen insight, clear judgment and concern for all, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. For our families as we prepare for Christmas, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. That we embrace our own vocations and encourage vocations to the religious life, priesthood and diaconate, let us pray to the Lord….
  1. For all who have gone before us and those who grieve them, in particular…
